What is XL Youth?

XL Youth ministries is the youth department of The Bridge Church Woodford. We are passionate about seeing ALL young people reach the potential that we believe God has for their life! We run a variety of activities for ages 11-19, ranging from Friday evening youth groups to mission trips to Slovakia!

XL Friday Nights

Our main event happens every Friday evening from 7-9:30. There's a cafe, pool, Table Tennis, PS3, games, worship, relevant preaching from the Bible and most importantly... Jesus! We're passionate about knowing God and making him known, come down and see why.

XL Midweek

XL runs a variety of programmes midweek, including Bible Studies, Worship evenings and band practices. These run on a Tuesday Evening at the Bridge from 18:00.

Fire Academy

Fire Academy is a year long commitment to serving in the Church and receiving teaching & leadership development in return. It's an incredibly popular and successful initiative pioneered by One Church, Gloucester.

ONE

One is a joint venture with other local youth ministries to come together and host events for all young people of the area. These include termly Youth worship events on a Sunday evening and our extremely popular and successful Christmas party - Winterfest.

Trips

XL goes on a number of trips every year, including a weekend away, the summer youth conference !Audacious and even trips abroad to countries like Slovakia and India!
